Járókelő – Active Citizens for Livable Cities

Járókelő began as a grassroots civil initiative and has evolved into a nationwide community platform enabling citizens to report public space issues in a simple and transparent way. The system connects residents with responsible municipalities and public service providers, increasing the number of resolved cases, improving institutional transparency and strengthening civic participation. Through the implementation of digital accessibility features and the launch of a mobile application, technical barriers to participation have been significantly reduced.
