What is it about?

People with Down's or Williams syndrome or with autism may not currently attend regular state music schools. Only in the ‘music school for the mentally disabled’ do such individuals, who often cannot read, write or count, receive instruction from specially trained educators on how to play classical music on specially designed instruments using the so-called colour note system. The school's own orchestra, Parafonia, is a visible sign of the success of this work.
