In a workshop that doubles as a retail space in the eighth district, the traditional handicraft skills of women from Africa, who have landed in Vienna due to human trafficking, are being refreshed. This allows them to make jewellery from glass beads and woven bracelets, generate income and have an alternative to (forced) prostitution. In addition to handicraft training, provided in collaboration with 'EXIT - the Association for the Fight against Human Trafficking from Africa', German language skills are improved, and social services are offered. The aim is for the women to have a chance to stabilize their lives and develop future prospects.
