Building Bridges is aiming to help victims and offenders through an innovative approach of restorative justice - the restorative dialog between unrelated victims and offenders. This dialog is led by facilitators. The project has been held in prisons. During the meetings, unrelated victims and offenders experience substantial inner change. Victim is healing her trauma and her sufferings, offender is empathizing with a victim, who is harmed. This project has a great positive impact for both groups. The core of the innovation is that this two, so contrasting groups, can cooperate and self-help.
