Modern Self-Defense democratizes safety. Instead of elitist combat sports, we teach safety literacy for the 21st century, accessible to everyone including women, children, seniors, and people with disabilities. Our method combines criminology and psychology with practical communication training. We reject fear-mongering and victim-blaming, and teach people to recognize danger early and stop it before it escalates into physical violence. As a social enterprise, we scale our impact through a nationwide network of female instructors and reinvest profits into public education.
