O čemu je riječ?

At Real Pearl Foundation, we constantly seek the earliest point of intervention, the sooner we start compensating for shortcomings, the higher the probability for achieving success is. We start supporting the development of children in the age group of 0 to 3 in our Baby-Mother club. We continue to support them in school, with a multitude of programs, specifically focusing on building competencies for career development. We also invest in job-creation in a segregated community, to drive opportunities in the present, and offer practical experience for the future generation.

Izazov

In segregated regions of Hungary, communities face poor infrastructure and opportunities for professional training. This lack of job skills keeps individuals and families limited to part-time or undocumented jobs. Parents who have not received an education cannot teach important educational skills to their children.

Ideja

Our initiatives are ineffective if marginalised communities do not have a chance to try and bring their skills in the workforce. We work with parents to create jobs and develop new skills. This sets an example to their children and paves the way for more opportunities in their future.

Akteri

We work with local communities to solve local issues. The project is within the community because all of its elements are connected with local needs. Through our work, we can reach 85% of children ages 6 to 18 living in the village; several parents are also working at our foundation as a full-time or part-time employee.

Učinak

Our project has taught our participants new life skills and improved stability. Many of our participants express a desire for further education. Our participants are also working with us as full-time or part-time employees, some of them are former students of our Tanoda, after-school programme.

Transfer

This project can be implemented in other regions facing the same or similar challenges with families and children. This project can serve as an example to develop complex strategies to support families and communities in poverty.
