The Energy and Climate One-Stop-Shop in Križevci run by KLIK cooperative is a rare example of a citizen-led energy institution, run by citizen energy cooperative and rooted in the local community. Its goal is to remove technical, financial and administrative barriers to energy renovation and climate adaptation, focusing on energy-poor households. Its social innovation lies in a cooperative model where citizens do not merely receive services, but collectively govern and expand energy transition, turning it into a tool for community building, climate resilience and social justice.
